Free Casket Delivery Across the GTA
All casket deliveries within the Greater Toronto Area are free of charge. This covers Toronto, Markham, Scarborough, Vaughan, North York, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, and Brampton.
Once your order is placed and payment is received, we arrange delivery based on your schedule. For most orders placed before early afternoon, same day delivery is available. If you need your casket delivered on a specific date and time, let us know, and we will confirm the details with you before we dispatch.
We deliver directly to the funeral home, chapel, or any other location you choose. Our team contacts the funeral director ahead of time to confirm the delivery window and make sure everything is ready when the casket arrives. You do not need to call the funeral home yourself or be present for the delivery.

Casket Delivery Across Ontario and Canada
Casket delivery outside the Greater Toronto Area is not priced online. Your order will show $0 shipping for the casket. We will contact you to arrange delivery and confirm the cost, which is charged separately. We ship to every province in Canada.
Standard ground shipping typically takes 2 to 5 business days depending on your location. For faster delivery, we offer express shipping that arrives within 1 to 3 business days. Call us to arrange express service and get a clear quote for your area.
To place an order for delivery outside the GTA, provide us with the date, time, and full address of the funeral home. We handle the rest from there.
Urn Delivery
Cremation urns in wood or metal are shipped by standard ground shipping for a $20.00 CAD per urn. Delivery typically takes 2 to 5 business days depending on your location. Once your urn is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow the shipment.
Marble urns require extra care due to their weight and fragile nature. Standard ground shipping for marble and porcelain urns is $35.00 CAD per urn. Shipping is charged for each urn in your order, so two urns are charged twice. Urn shipping costs the same anywhere in Canada.
For express urn shipping within 1 to 3 business days, call us to check availability and cost for your location.
Local pickup is available at no cost for all cremation urns. You can place your order online and pick it up at our Markham showroom, or visit us in person to choose from our in stock selection.
Haven Casket is not responsible for delays or other carrier issues once the package has left our facility. If a casket or urn is damaged in shipping, we replace it at no extra cost. Please send photos of the damage within the notice period set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy. We need those photos to claim on the carrier’s insurance.
How We Coordinate With the Funeral Home
One of the biggest concerns families have when buying a casket from an independent supplier is whether the funeral home will accept the delivery smoothly. At Haven Casket, we handle this part of the process for you.
After you place your order, our team contacts the funeral home directly. We confirm the delivery address, the date and time, and any specific instructions the facility may have. The casket arrives inspected, fully assembled, and ready for the service.
You can supply your own casket from an independent supplier. By law, a funeral home cannot charge extra for a casket you bought elsewhere. This is set out in Ontario Regulation 30/11, section 24(1). We deliver to GTA funeral homes and coordinate the handoff directly. Just let the funeral home know before you sign. A funeral home may decline a casket in limited cases. It may refuse one it considers unsafe or inappropriate for its intended use. It may also refuse one that does not meet the cemetery or crematorium requirements. Can I get same day casket delivery in Toronto?
Yes. We offer same day delivery for caskets anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. For most orders placed before early afternoon, the casket can be delivered the same day. Call us directly for urgent requests.
Is casket delivery to the funeral home really free?
Yes. All casket deliveries within the GTA are free of charge. There is no delivery fee, no handling fee, and no hidden cost. For deliveries outside the GTA, your order will show $0 shipping for the casket and we will contact you to confirm the delivery cost, which is charged separately.
Do I need to be there when the casket is delivered?
No. You do not need to be present for the delivery. We coordinate directly with the funeral home, and the casket arrives inspected, fully assembled, and ready for the service.
Can I ship an urn to another province?
Yes. We ship cremation urns to every province in Canada. Standard shipping is $20.00 for each wood or metal urn and $35.00 for each marble or porcelain urn. You will receive a tracking number once the urn is dispatched.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation made before your order is dispatched is fully refundable. A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Once your order has been delivered, you have 14 days to request a return under our Returns and Refunds Policy. For a change of mind return, we refund the product price, but the original shipping cost is not refunded. You pay return shipping unless the product is defective. Orders cancelled after items are shipped, but before items are delivered: Customer will be charged our full shipping and return costs, and for caskets a fee of $200.00 in addition to those costs. If a casket has already arrived, a fee of $200.00 applies to the cancellation. You also pay the return shipping. We refund your original shipping cost. The $200.00 fee covers the restocking, truck and fuel fees incurred during delivery. None of these charges apply when a casket is defective or arrives damaged. If the casket is defective, you choose either a free replacement or a full refund that includes the shipping you paid. If it was damaged in shipping, we replace it at no extra cost. Products that have been used or damaged after delivery cannot be refunded.
